The Mount Vernon Athletic Fields are home to GW Men's and Women's Soccer, GW Women's Lacrosse, and GW Softball. The facilities include a multipurpose synthetic turf athletic field and softball field used for Intercollegiate Team Practices and Competitions, Student Club Team Practices, Intramural and Recreational Activities, as well as occasional University and Other Special Events.

The Athletic Field has hosted both the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship and the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship. When unscheduled, the fields can be used by current GW students who display a valid GWorld Card for free play activities. Please confirm the daily schedule at the Mount Vernon Lloyd Gym or call at 202-242-6285.

*Due to safety concerns, there is no use on the field after dark.
