Katie Norbury enters her first full season on the women's lacrosse staff at GW after serving as a volunteer assistant in 2007. Norbury was a four-year starter and two-time All-America selection as a defender at Princeton University from 2000-04. She anchored the Tigers' defense to four consecutive Ivy League titles and NCAA Final Four berths, including back-to-back national championships in 2002 and 2003.

In 2003, Norbury was named first team all-region and second team All-America to help the Tigers to a 16-4 overall record and their second consecutive national title. As team co-captain the following season, Norbury earned first team All-Ivy League, all-region and All-America honors as Princeton went 19-1 and reached its third straight national championship game. She helped the Tigers to a 68-11 overall record during her four-year career, finishing with 102 ground balls and 64 caused turnovers.

In addition to her on-field accolades, Norbury was named to the 2004 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and received the lacrosse team's Emily C. Goodfellow Award.

Norbury graduated with a bachelor's degree in art history from Princeton in 2004. She is currently working toward an MBA while serving as Event Manager for GW's Athletic Department and Charles E. Smith Athletics Center.
