"While being a part of the GW Gymnastics team, I have realized the importance of making success a habit in all aspects of my life. In the gym, we strive every day to better ourselves and put forth excellence, never less, in everything we do. My coaches and teammates have taught me that this same attitude must be applied to our academics and personal life. With my remaining time as a member of this team, I will continue to live by this standard, and it will undoubtedly set me up for success in my future outside of GW."
At GW: 2007 - Competed in two meets after missing the 2006 season ... made her collegiate debut at home on 1/21 with a 8.875 on vault ... made the second appearance of her career at home on 2/26 and recorded a 9.325 on bars. 2006 - Did not perform in a meet for the Colonials as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed for Chantilly High under coach Anne Foster ... three-time regional qualifier and two-time third-place Level 10 finisher at the Virginia State Championships ... as a sophomore, captured the USAG Level 10 Virginia State individual title and also helped lead her squad to the team championship ... was also a national qualifier that year and placed ninth on floor and 11th in the all-around at the National meet.
PERSONAL: Born Erin Elizabeth Quigg on March 20, 1987 in Arlington, VA ... daughter of Paul and Maria Quigg ... has an older sister, Katherine, an older brother, Tripp, and a younger brother, Michael ... serves as the PR/Promotions Officer of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council ... enjoys cooking, arts & crafts, knitting, and travelling ... international affairs major.
