"Being a part of the GW Gymnastics team for the past three years has taught me how to be a successful person in life outside the gym. I've learned how to manage my time with class, practice, homework, and internships. I have also learned valuable lessons like teamwork and hard work that I can apply to future experiences in the workplace, and also in my personal life. After being a senior and captain this year, I will learn more lessons such as how to be a successful role model and leader. These are important values that are needed when you get out of college, and I am so fortunate to able to learn through gymnastics. I feel as though when I graduate, I will have an advantage over others who did not participate in collegiate athletics."
