Golf Places 13th at ODU/Seascape Collegiate

Final Stats

KITTY HAWK, NC -- George Washington's Tim Johnson and Lewis Sturdy were the low Colonials with two-round 145s Tuesday at the 28th ODU/Seascape Collegiate tournament. Both golfers tied for 21st place, out of 107 individuals, at the par-70, 6,131-yard Seascape Golf Links. The Colonials finished 13th in the 21-team field.

The University of Hartford (569) won the tournament by three strokes over runner-up Campbell (572). Richmond's Jordan Utley was the medalist with a three-under 137 that included a first-round 67.

GW's Conor McMahon was the next-lowest Colonial after firing a 149 (73-76), which put him in a tie for 48th place.

The ODU tournament closed out the Fall portion of the 2007-08 schedule. The Colonials resume play in February at the 54-hole Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Feb. 25-26 at Hilton Head, SC.
