Zuluaga Became the first GW freshman to play in an NCAA Championship when he participated in the 2006 East Regional at Lake Nona in Orlando. He locked up his spot on the squad by shooting 72-74-71 and finishing 17th. He opened the 2006 Navy Spring Invitational with a 69, helping the team to a third place finish. His final-round 70 helped the Colonials to a second-place finish at the Old Dominion/SeaScape Invitational.

As a sophomore he became a regular part of the Colonials line up. He shot 74-74 at the Navy Fall Classic and 75-73 at the ODU-SeaScape Invitational. He led the Colonials in the GW Invitational shooting 77-73. He kicked off his junior year with a 17th place finish at the 2007 Navy Fall Classic, tying his career low with a second round 69.

Junior, High School & Amateur Golf:
Zuluaga came to GW as the No. 4-ranked Amateur in Colombia. At the 2005 Colombian Amateur Championship, he qualified fourth with 74-70-78 and then lost in the quarterfinals of match play. In the 2005 Colombian Open, Zuluaga tied for 30th and was the second lowest amateur in the field, shooting 70-76-76-76 and edging Oscar Alvarez (BYU's number one player) and Manuel Villegas (Florida's number one player) by one shot. He shot 77-76-72-75 at the 2004 Optimist World Junior in Florida and finished 16th. The same year he posted a 307 (for 72 holes) at the Callaway World Junior at Torrey Pines in San Diego.
