As a Colonial, he shot 74-77 to tie for 19th at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational. He was named Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for his play at the 2007 GW Invitational where he shot 79-75 in high winds. As a sophomore he finished 13th at the 2007 Rehoboth Beach Invitational with 73-76 and was the low Colonial at the Ball St. Invitational, played just 30 minutes from his home in Indiana, shooting 72-73-70. The final round 70 is his career low.
Junior, High School & Amateur Golf
Turner is the 2005 Indiana State Match Play Champion and was honored as the Pepsi Indiana Player of the Year that same year. He also qualified for the US Junior Amateur mat Olympic Club in San Francisco. In 2005 he won the FCWT Cog Hill Invitational, shooting 74-75.
