Oh Danny Boys - Four Dan Sullivans were in attendance at the Colonials 2005 Baseball Alumni Day at Barcroft Park May 14. From right to left are Dan Sullivan, GW senior left-hander from Stony Point, NY, his Dad, Dan Sullivan, also from New York, Dan Sullivan '85, a former right-handed GW pitcher, who lives in Ashburn, VA, and his young son Danny Sullivan, a Little Leaguer with the Ashburn D-backs - coached by none other than his Dad, Dan Sullivan.

Turning Back the Clock - First-year GW baseball coach Steve Mrowka (right) welcomed back former Colonials' players last Saturday including Dr. George Sengstack '53 (left) who pitched for GW in the 1952 Southern Conference Tournament against Duke and former major leaguer Dick Groat (GW and Duke are former SoCon members.) Dr. Sengstack, a general practice physician, pointed out his Colonials catcher was Steve Korcheck, who later caught in the big leagues for the Washington Senators.
