Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the athletic facilities, operations and event management for the Charles E. Smith Athletic Center and the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex.

GW Highlights:
Jason Wilson was hired as Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations in the summer of 2006, marking his 10th year as an employee within the George Washington University Athletic Department. He has contributed greatly to the growth of the department's athletic facilities. Specifically, he assisted in the interior design and the construction of the Theodore and Annette Lerner Health & Wellness Center as well as the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex. Furthermore, he has coordinated numerous renovations for the facilities such as the installation of the newly added 10mm video scoreboard and its operating control room. In addition, he managed the installation of the new "blue" chairback seats and the overhaul of the student bleachers. Most recently, in the Spring of 2006, after eight years of facilitating unified commencement ceremonies on the Ellipse, Wilson supervised the University's first unified commencement held on the National Mall between the United States Capitol Building and the Washington Monument which was attended by more than 25,000 graduates, family members and guests, including former President George H. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Prior to GW:
A military veteran, Wilson served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge after seeing active duty in the first Gulf War Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Later he attended GW on a NROTC scholarship.
