Role at GW:
As an Academic Support Assistant, Tamagni oversees the
academic counseling for several GW teams, including women's
basketball, women's tennis, women's rowing, and men's and
women's water polo.
Prior to GW:
Tamagni served 11 months as a graduate intern at Drexel
University's ACHIEVE?Center in Philadelphia, providing academic
counseling for at-risk student-athletes at the Division I
institution. She also volunteered at Martin Luther King High School
in Philadelphia, working primarily with varsity football players
through the Play It Smart program.
Personal:
A native of Vineland, NJ, Tamagni earned a bachelor's
degree in psychology from Saint Joseph's in 2002. She also holds a master's degree in sport psychology from Temple University, which she obtained in 2004.
